Chevy is best Fo Sho! Hey can someone tell me where to look on my enging block to find the numbers that tell the engine size? Im a 16 year old with my first car (1962 Chevy C-10), this is my first experience with a chevy and i have no idea what size of engine it is. Some guy told me its a 283 but i need to know fo sho.

look on the back on the right side if your facing the front, thats the cast number, you probably will be able to tell by that, have to look up the numbers on the net

Ya Ya i know i posted twice. oops. Thanx for all the info guys! Thats totally awsome I didnt expect anyone to help out atleast not that fast! Another question does anyone have an estimate on how much it would cost me to get the interior of my truck painted? I need it perfesionally done. Thanx again. Peace

I dont know how much paint is where you are from, but it shouldnt cost alot. Exspecially if you take all the interrior out of it, and have everything out of the way for them when you take it to them. You probally would be paying mostly for the cost of the paint.
