You must not have looked hard enuff at the grey one then. Because the headlight bezels are off of it. (if your going to count the chrome)
So if paint, interrior, rims, engine, tranny, rear end, seats, tail lights, grill, trim and all that doesnt make a car different WTF does?.
All cars the same model have the same basic shape. Other 86 mustangs have the same shape as yours....and yours is different?

Ive the original non SS dash sitting up in my room, its kinda rust and im sure it wouldnt fit for what u want but u could probably take the clock out of that, tis got no needle but atleast its got the backing..
hmmm on my ss dash the tac is on the left and the clock is on the right...

My Gas gauge is on the left, and clock on the right (where the clock is suppost to go)

btw, do u want that clock? soon as i can get some batteries ill take pictures of all the dash pieces ive been workin on and then ill take pictures of all the reasons why im replacing them

Ill probally just put a piece of black plastic in the hole and fill it up where it looks like nothing was there.

its nota nova but there is another chevy that id own. and they wouldnt even haf ta pay me. 70 chevelle SS454 and thats for only 2 reasons my dad had a old 70's chevelle when i was lil. orange w/ white racing stripes i think... + its on the greatest stoner movie ever... Funny u mention would screws, whoever owned the nova before me decided he would overtighten everuthing and bust every piece of vinyl in the car..
with wood screws!
n theres some BEASTY screws holding down the running boards ffs, took me 3 bits on the little grinder n half an hour with the cordless drill to get it the board off, the drill has no effect whatsoever on the screw thats left in the whole. im gonna go cry now

I know how it is when you lose the screws..and put more back in their place. But I hate it when people use different size screws like that and mess it up. Or like you said..use wood screws lol.
