Yea I know I always put down fords...but I aways joke, nothing serious. This however is a dumb idea (and im sure many other cars have it also, not just ford). I was looking at my grandpa's ford the other day, and noticed something that IMO was dumb. The weather stripping around the door is to keep water OUT right? Well this rubber goes down the door line just like on any other car, then before the door starts slanting straight down, there is a hole. The rubber is shaped in a "L" shape, and it directs the water into the hole.... The way it works is the water, rather than keep it out, is directed thru a whole, where it then pours into the inside of the door...and then runs out a drain in the bottom of the door.

Anybody having any problems with Cardomain? It will let me upload the pictures, but when I click to view them, or to try and put them on my page all that shows up is a box with the X in it. I cant get them to work thru posting the URL on here. Maybe Cardomain is just doing work to the site right now?

Sorry for the long wait, but I think I finally got them to work. The bigger storms past and I got time to mess around and try to get them to show up. I think the first ones were messed up, I took some more..and got them to work. I never would have even looked at it, and found out the way it drains if I hadnt been checking the weatherstripping. He is going to paint the white to match the rest, and maybe change the weatherstripping...so I found out how it drains when I looked.

Yea it is strange....if it didnt stop and go thru the door like it does, it probally would go farther down and go thru the hole in the body below the A piller.

The inside of the door must have some kind of undercoating in it or else it would be gone.
