Ive never worked on a honda engine, so I dont know exactly how hard it would be to put a head gasket on one. Thing to look out for tho is weather or not the head or block is cracked also. Ive seen alot of people get a car that "only needed a head gasket" and then find out the head is cracked because the owner ran it too hot after the gasket blew.
Id say its worth getting if it only needs a head gasket...just be careful.

I don't think it would be too hard, just keep track of wires and stuff. But it probably does have a cracked head if it's aluminum.

Is it black? I know a kid who's selling a CRX in cali.
What engine does it have, d15, d16, zc, b16? IF you don't know that, what model/year is it?

Also, those head gaskets are really easy to replace. If you happen to have a D series engine, i'd put on a Z6 (Vtec) head while you have the head off. I could get you a complete one for $130 or so, boosts up the horsepower from 106-130. Let me know
