My cousin is wanting to try and trade his nova for a 94 - 95 v6 S10. For gas reasons. He hardly drives his nova because of the cost between gas and insurance. So he wants to try and trade it for a 94 - 95 S10 V6. I told him it would probally be easier to sell his nova, then buy a s10. Instead of trying to find somebody to trade. But anyway..he wants to trade, so I figured Id post it here...just incase anybody knows anybody lol. www.cardomain.com/id/nova_caine84

How much would he be willing to sell the Nova for, if he was to do so?

hhmmmm my uncle has an s10, i doubt he'd sell it to me though, I'll keep my eyes open. Try to get him to trade you the s10..then trade for the nova? lol, never can have enuff nova. Sinister Im not sure how much he wants for it if he sells it instead of trading. It wouldnt be really high. I mean..the car runs like new. Engine has less then 10,000 miles on it. And he just put a shift kit and harden sprag in the tranny. It has only been driven maybe 20 miles since that was done. So he will wont enuff out of it to get a fair deal...but wont be too high because it doesnt have the "look". No paint job, and needs some minor detail work. Ill ask him..and get back to you.

nah, I'm already gettin' a Disco Nova for REALLY cheap. How does your cousin like the shift kit? I put one in mine while it was out but I don't know what I'm in for the first time shifts into second.(with my luck lately the tranny will end up blowing apart or something)

He likes it..it shifts pretty hard. Mine normal driving with the vaccuum hooked up doesnt shift near as hard as his normal. But If I unhook my vaccum it will shift alot harder then his if he unhooks his.

Mine had the tranny & shift kit, and rear end when I got it. I think he set his for street tho. I know mine is probally more towards drag..because the previous owner had a big block in my car. He didnt pay for the car..and they came and took it away. Only reason I got the tranny and rear end was because he didnt have time to snatch it out also. Too bad it didnt have the big block when we got it...instead it had a shitty 267.

I havent talked to him yet, I talked to his bro. He said he thinks he is wanting $3,000 for it. But he is going to do some minor detail work to it. Sand it, put a fresh coat of primer, clean up the interior stuff like that. He might do some painting under the hood also not sure tho.

He's not going to get 3,000 for it, it's hard to get that kind of money for a disco nova. Maybe in 5 years or so when the early ones get harder to find.

Yea, thats why he is wanting to trade it more then he is sell it. Because he knows he cant get as much out of it. I dont blame him for trying to get 3k tho, because if he dont trade..he will have to make sure he gets enuff $$$$ to afford a s10.
