Have a sound system, dvd player, ps2 or any other electronic comments or questions? Here is the place to talk about it.

I'd go with an Alpine amp, and 2 or 3 JL Audio 12" W7's in a ported box. That's just my take on it

I don't know shit about "sound systems", when I get the money I'm going to get a head unit from Custom Auto Sounds that will fit in the stock radio hole in my dash and then put a cd changer in the trunk.

Incase your wondering I have the chrome nobs that go in 2 of those top holes. And also have the lighter. (top center hole). 2 holes on the sides are for the radio also. If you notice, you can see a little bit of rust on the bottom left of those pics. I had a little "fire" problem once before. Switch shorted out, and basically burnt the paint off the dash right there lol. Not fun going down the drive way..and smoke comes from under the dash. Enuff to were you cant see.

Yeah, I've had a few "electrical mishaps". I'm not sure I've ever seen a radio hole shaped like that.

Most every 55-59 Chevy truck you see..the dash has been cut up. Just because its hard to try and put a radio in the dash with that small hole. I was lucky enuff to get a truck that hasnt been all cut up.
