Yea..but some of those little Honda's can fool you. Sometimes things are put together real nice. You can never tell. And who said Nitrous is for "pussies". Don't Billy Glidden and Brandon Switzer both run N2O? I use a 150 shot myself... www.rfedd.bigstep.com/Seattle9.96.WMVRF That would be me, that comment was directed towrads "ricers" that think nitrous is the only way to make power.

Yea directed to ricers...kinda like the guy that told me his stock eagle talon (only K&N filter) ran 10's. Just because he redlined it thru the gears.

People that shift at redline don't know how to drive, you need to shift when the power drops off.

I was invited to attend a EDRA (Electric Drag Racers Association) event 2 years ago, as one of only 4 gasoline powered cars at the event. Had my doors blown off by a high 6 second electric dragster. Now that was fun. It was nice to actually hear your own car going down track. Those electric guys are really quiet.

The red 65 in the video I posted a few posts ago. It is a 1965 Mustang FB. 347 CI (stoked 302) with a JPT C4 automatic and 4.56 gears. My best pass last year was a 9.74 @ 137 MPH, with a 1.360 sixty foot, 6.17 @ 112 in the 1/8 mile. 3020 pounds with driver. Street licensed.

They are some Honda's out there that are fairly fast. But thats either professional drag racers...that have strickly drag cars.....or people that know what they are doing. And 90% of the Honda's on the street..have owners that dont know what they are doing. And are just trying to follow the Fast and Furious craze. 99% where I'm at. ;D I've never actually met anyone with an Accord that I didn't think was a tool. I've seen some online with daily driven 12 or 11 second rides that aren't rolling advertisements for Pep Boys but never actually met one in real life.

Maybe electric motor should be added to the poll. I've been reading with curiosity about the next Mitsubishi Eclipse having electric motors for the rear wheels that come on to boost power at WOT.

I guess it is NEDRA now. National Electric Drag Racing Association. They have different classes depending on the voltage I guess. It just drove me crazy to watch them make a run. NO sound at all. No fuel or nitro or alcohol smells. It just seemed against the laws of nature. The guy I ran owned the "fastest electric dragster in the world" so he did not run in any particular "class". After he beat me I stopped by his pitts and challenged him to run me again. Like "right now". He declined. Had to charge his batteries for a couple of hours.

I tried to register, and put in all the information. I think it was going to send me a password via e-mail, but it has not arrived yet. I can try and re-register.
