I just got off the phone with my mom, she said my grandpa was gone bushhogging somebody's field. Dont know when he will be back for me to ask, but I should be able to let you know something by late tonight early tomorrow. I might go over there myself and see if I can find one.

If you need it you can just pay shipping, stock yokes aren't worth a whole lot anyway.

I talked to my grandpa, he didnt have any yokes for the smaller nova/camaro stuff like that. He had alot of truck rear ends, and 3 caprice rear ends, an oldsmobile and buick rear end. But all of those wouldnt have worked. My mom is going to call the Chevrolet dealership tomorrow (today actually its 2:23am), and ask how much it will be. Im told it will only be around $30 maybe a little more. Because I mentioned something about might have one shipped, and my uncle told me it would cost me a fortune. His wife made a skeleton out of plastic milk jugs and stuff like that, and was going to send it to a person they know in texas...$50 for shipping. I know mostly because it was hard to ship being such an odd shape, but the yoke will be heavy. So im going to try and just get a new one. Overnight shipping..but because of them being closed on sunday and monday(closed because of holiday) I still wont get it till tuesday.

I guess since I put the last u-joint in it was getting dark outside I didnt see the damage. But damn, I saw the damage to the yoke no sooner then I dropped the driveshaft out of the way. Here are a few pics I took earlier today. Hard to see them because I didnt have the jack stands, and didnt risk jacking the car up. So I was under it with it level on the ground. (Isnt easy to fit a 6'4 270lb guy under a car lol). I have it out, and was going to take better pictures because i know these suck...but camera died. Its on the charger. The u joint caps are nothing, ive seen a hell of a lot worse then that. Where they have shattered the cap into 100's of pieces. But the yoke (companion flange for the technical ppl out there) is in bad shape. Even tho it doesnt show all the damage in the pics.

You can see in that last pic that shows the bolt hole messed up pretty good. Look at where the joint caps set...that gash isnt suppost to be in there...and thats a pretty good size gash.

It's not really that heavy, I've shipped a wheel hub before and it weighs more than a yoke, it was about $10.

Yea yoke isnt near as heavy as some wheel hubs. I know of one guy that had a nova that I might can get ahold of tomorrow..the other 3 - 4 places I thought about is just a hope situation lol.

This was the yoke after I took it out. Still a sorry picture because the focus on the camera was off. But you can see the gash that isnt suppost to be there, and see good enuff to notice the bolt hole messed up.

Car rides alot smoother with the new yoke in it. IMO I think it rides smoother then my mom's new 04 car.
