;D do you wanna know?
lol Im talking to my aunt, about a old geo metro she used to have. Its been sitting in the junkyard, so I know she isnt going to try and drive it. Im thinking about putting it on the triumph chassis, using a rx7 rear end that i have (because it isnt as wide as a GM rear end), and dropping my engine into it. It can be done..but with alot of work. Atleast it has a title, thats one reason why I backed out of the Triumph project...had no title for it.
Anyway ill keep you guys updated on weither or not I can get the car, and how the work goes when/if I get it.

You know you want a Geo Metro ;D lol jk. Only big problem ill have is trying to get the engine to sit down low enuff. Because the back half of my air cleaner will be where the firewall used to be underneath the windsheild.

This is the basic gauge lay out I want in the car if I do get it going. Ill have to take the dash out and put a sheet metal one back. (Because ill have to knock the firewall back..and regular dash wont fit. Basically just speedo, tach, fuel, fuel pressure, oil pressure, volts, water temp., and trans temp. In this layout.

Fuel pressure? I sure as hell wouldnt want a gas line coming into my car, I don't even like the thought of an oil line, thats why I got an electric oil guage.(sender is big and ugly but it's alot safer)

And I thought the S-10 idea was nuts... If you do this dude, you SERIOSLY are insane, but that would be wicked! My sis's bf and I were jokingly talking about putting his built 400 in my CRX, lol

Ive been wanting to put my engine in a small car for a while. I was hoping to get the triumph going..but I decided not too, because I had no title or anything for it. There is a 4 door Chevette down here that I first thought about putting my engine in. But the V8 chevette has been done quite a few times before, Ive never seen a V8 Geo Metro lol. Plus the Geo is even lighter then the Chevette.

Im going to have to look for a rear end out of a Monza, or Vega. Even those will be wider then the Geo..but not as wide as the one out of my Nova. I have a good rear end out of a 79 Mazda Rx-7..but Ive heard they can only handle 200hp stock. (Not going to be dogging any rear end i put in it, till I get it modded...but I figured even driving normal would mess up the mazda rear).
Some guy in Import Chat on yahoo told me that old toyota rear ends are light, fairly strong, and are narrow.
