283 lol
He said he has out ran cars ever since 63. He has beat 427 camaro's, 454 chevelles and what not. Then he said he parked it in 1970. So he dont have the 70+ kill list anymore.
Nice car, but he is full of shit.

He wrote this - > "nice quick lil burnout" under this picture on his page. No what it is, is that i got a rearend that accels more than the stock 3.32:1 rearend or a 4.11:1 rearend thats how i can run in the 9`s in the 1/4 with that hp the rearend is gear for the weight of the vehicle and the hp to get it up to speed as quick as it can but not top out before the halfways mark on the 1/4 mile Also that is Flywheel Hp the 496.7 bhp and at the rearend thats gives it a feel of duplication which makes it accels like it has more hp and the trq converter duplicates the trq by a factor of 2 once it goes through the converter at 2895 rpm

I dont mean to sound like im putting down his car. Because I really like his car, but he is full of shit about his times. lol running 9's on those tires.
Whats even worse is he cant do a burnout bigger then that in a 9 second car? With worn out radial tires.
With the HP he claims, on good tires he could run low 11's in that type of car probally. (if he has the gears he says) But with those tires he will do good to see 12's. If I had tires like that on my car, all Id do is just sit there and spin.

those look like the tires that are on the back of my Nova right now, except mine are COMPLETELY bald, they look like slicks.

Yea mine used to look like that. The tires I have now are lasting alot longer then I thought they would. My cousin has to keep rotating his rear tires on his nova, he has the power to light them up. But its peg leg so he usually rotates them to keep from wearing one out and not the other.

Here's something to ponder, my dad said that the rearend that is under my Nova now (the one out of my old one) would always spin both wheels, it never spun just one and it doesnt have a posi.

Maybe it has a limited slip or something? My old truck isnt posi traction far as I know. (dont think the 2wd half tons had posi..and its the original rear end...and hasnt been worked on.) It doesnt drive like it has posi traction either...far as going around curves and stuff. But if it gets into a bind, or starts spinning...both tires will spin on it also.

My cousin's 76 Nova w/ stock 10 bolt rear end, will spin both sometimes..and sometimes not. Sometimes he can put it in reverse..tap the gas just enuff to make them spin over. Stop, put it in drive...and it will spin both sometimes.

My cousin Chris has a 1983 Chevy Camaro Z28. He ended up blowing up the engine, but beforehand he had a lot of fun with it. He could stick it in reverse and smoke both tires from standstill, and same with going straight. He told me he has a posi rearend, and his car was pretty awesome until he blew up the 305. Now he's working on a 350 with a 350TH (?) tranny. I told him he should put a blower on it, that would be sweet. He has a honda accord now and is ricing it out. lol. I'll start a topic on this sometime.
