Taking a break from working right now, (6:30 here)..probally be going back out in another 30 mins - 1 hour. All that is left is driver side front fender, driver side door, and driver side rear 1/4 panel. Really there isnt a single rust spot, or rusty hole in the body....all the work that is taking me this long is just smoothing out a few minor dents (cant tell they are there really, but will show up after paint if i dont fix them), and a couple scratches in the pieces of plastic that go over the headlights. If I find a nice warm clear day that it doesnt look like it will rain, ill have a chance to prime it. Then go back and wet sand it smooth and it will then be ready for the coats of paint.

I think I'll probably paint mine myself, gotta put the yellow on, then paint the rocker panels black, put the side stripes on and then take it to a painter to put a clear coat on. I don't even wanna try that, if ya mess it up your screwed.

It does look rough dont it? ;D I should have it primered soon, depends on weather. I know one thing...that damn body is so smooth If a car was to hit me...it would probally just slide right off without doing any damage haha. Took me a while to get it like that...but was worth it.

This doesnt really have anything to do with my car or an update on it being painted or anything but something to let you think about lol.
My dad just bought a truck from his boss. He payed $35,000 for it, with 300,000 miles.......

No engine swap, no tranny swap, good body. One catch tho...its a freightliner ;D. So the 300k means nothing. $35k for a 99 model with only 300k is a good deal. It should last between 1 million and 1.5 million miles. Its turned up at 450hp and around 1,500ft/lbs of torque right now. It can go up to 505hp and over 1,600 lbs of torque stock tho.

His weights around 20,000lbs...which is fairly light for what it is. It has a huge sleeper on it. Dual beds, you can literally stand up and stretch out, walk around in the back. Ass load of room. Has a sun roof, and 2 side windows in the sleeper you can open or close. Has vents back there, its own radio heater and a/c controls. Plus light controls. Plug ins for coolers and tvs. Pretty cool truck. Has 2 140 gallon tanks....so you can image how much it costs to put 280 gallons of diesel and fill it up.

Torque is good, but not always. Ask the passenger side rear tire that after it was slung off my car.
