I can sense changes in the air guys. Major changes. Since I got this new job, ill have alot of money to dump into the Nova. Ill only HAVE to pay for insurance and gas, the rest will go into the nova. Ill be starting at around $9.40/hr probally...and suppost to get a raise 3 months after starting. So the fun begins.
I hope to have a chassis built for the Nova by late March/sometime in April. Ill be getting a custom IFS kit made from Martz chassis', and going with a 3-link setup in the rear. After I get the front and rear suspension ill connect to two completing the frame. And maybe late April - May ill have the chassis where it will roll. (including the rear end from Competiton Engineering, 14" brakes front and rear, 18" rims and tires).
I would rather have 17" rims then 18"...but I doubt the 14" rotors and 6 piston calibers will fit behind the 17's. I think ill go with some Z06 style rims...think they will look good?

14" rotors, nice I'd go with the 18's, or try a 17" on there and see if it works

Those look good too. No idea when ill get started on the engine. Probally closer to the end of this year tho. I got 30.75 hours of work in this week (since I didnt work but 4 days...one of those was coming in at 8:00).
Im still getting use to having to get up so early...I usually clock in at 5:30-5:40. Hours are 6:00-2:30.

Only have $87 saved up right now...did have a little more till I bought a cover for it. First week was a short week, and last week I still had some bills to pay. Im about to get caught up tho, and can probally put back $150 a week after I pay the truck payment, insurance, and leave a few bucks to spend.

It will be ok if you put the cover down tight enough to keep it from rubbing the car alot...yet leave it up enough to breath through it. If you leave a cover on it for years then the paint will be shot anyway.
Im thinking about putting insurance back on it till I get the money saved up...rather then park it till i get it saved up. Its only been about 3 -4 months since ive drove it and I already miss it. If I do put it back on the road I wont drive it much....maybe once every other week.

Its parked because I was gonna start putting stuff on it and saving up. Ive since decided to drive it on the weekends and get use out of it till I do get enough saved up to do what I want to it. Just ordered some 4.56 gears for it...along with some traction bars. That should go nicely with the threaded axles and posi loc. Buying some sub frame connectors. And in about 7 weeks Im buying a complete fiberglass front clip.
Front end weights 22lbs...right now the front bumper alone weights more then that.

Probally go with a flip nose. I was looking at the front that VFN fiberglass makes. Ill have to buy a hood seperate tho. There front end has the bumper, fenders and all made together...but doesnt come with a hood.

Yea im going to go with a 4" cowl induction hood. Something that will make it look more agressive, give more clearance under the hood...which I need, but not go overboard. 4" is plenty IMO...unless you have something special underneath you are trying to hide lol.
The gears are something to tie me over to play around with till I get the stuff I want. The front end I had planned on buying anyway so I figured Id buy it...put it on and get use out of it as soon as possible...and still have it when I get ready for the major make over.

Little bit of an update....I ordered some 4.88 gears from summit racing. Local parts place doesnt know what the hell is going on and always end up getting in the wrong shit when you order it (i know first hand...this recently wasnt the first). So after dealing with them...I just got some 4.88's ordered from summit. Ordered them monday....so maybe they will be here by the end of the week or monday next week. Didnt feel like paying the extra for next day air.....btw. you see how high that shit is?
