You a NASCAR fan? last year probly 70% of the engines that blew up were Fords. (not that I have anything against Fords )

well I dont wanna get caught up in this argument, Im a Chevy guy, but I like the old Fords, the Fairlanes mostly, 64-67 around there. Ford is smarter than Chevy though, they kept the rear wheel drive cars while Chevy got rid of them. Gotta give em credit for being smart

They are good and bad from both companies. (or any other company for that matter) If its built right..it will last for a long time, if its thrown together it isnt going to hold up under stress...doesnt matter if its ford or chevy. Im a Chevy person myself, so I always talk junk to fordies just for fun. Ford owns Chevy far as new cars, but in my opinion chevy rules the pre 80's era.

And 80 s!! cant forget the monte carlo and camaro, all ford really had was the mustang, if you would like i could get into all of what GM had in the 80s, 3 words: Buick Grand National.

pre 80's the pantera was the 90's along w/ mustang before that there were stangs maverics whick do actualy have a good bit in common w/ the nova but still far from it. the t-birds ect ect so the mustang wasnt all there was. the rest just hadnt poped in your mind. when you think performance. back in the 80's pre 80' and 70 in the 70's the t-bird was in competion w/ the vette and was a verry strong car when it hadnt turned into a family car. in the 80's early 80's they had em ad 4 and 6 cyls then the 302 was droped back in as carb. the 86 is when they came out w/ the fuel infected they were trying new thing but. chevy had the camaro competing and they droped the new style heads they were working on because it wasnt really to specs and went w/ the old style and they then had the stock forged pistons and new fuel injection. it didnt make quite the HP of the carbed cause at the time the computer was running on a first program (same as if you Dl somethin off the computer thats new. dont work as good as it does the second or third time they go over it) and it was efi instead of mass air but change them few things and its runnin good. so dunt underestamate 80's pre 80's stangs-ford. cause now theres plenty of em runnin the stock block that can run low times w/ not bein bottel fed(why would you anyways)

Worst insult to a muscle car in the 80's was the 80+ Nova's. Those dont even deserve to have the Nova emblem on them. Freaking yota 4 bangers in a car that looked like it was a breed from a Chevette and a Corolla.
