When we built the engine in my car a few years back, my dad's friend bought a 400 crate engine. My engine lasted up till we rebuilt it again 2 years later (didnt need rebuilt but did it anyway), and the guy's 400 crate engine only lasted a year tops.
Since the 2nd rebuild..my engine has around 10k miles on it.

It was about 3 years ago. He bought a 400 crate long block. Then he changed the heads, cam, intake not long after he put it in.
(Not sure where he got it from)
He had it in his S10, and drag raced it....it didnt hold up very long.

yeah it has to be a GT car not a street car mr smarty, and 2 hear of a cobra R,ford GT ford FT40 and ford daytona, they didnt need all 1000 some odd hp + turbo to makes em quick. there done fast. and i dont see that car runnin anywhere near production your talkin bout. atleast the GT is on market and the cobra R and the others. that run up there. ford has plenty of cars under wrap that can out do your lil car there. and for crying out loud for a few grand you can make a mustang 4 cyl push 1000 hp
