Nah I didnt paint it...its called rain lol. My car is very shiney when it rains and gets wet. Would look like a nice paintjob if i put clear coat over it. (clear coat would make it shine and keep it that darker color).
What are you looking for sinister? Stock nova? Year?

Got a nice little 73 project car here, sell it to ya cheap! (Acually, a guy made me an offer of $1100 today, I almost took it because I was really stressed over the wiring, I think I worked all the bugs out though.)

One that looks like that. Most likely stock. Anything modified will cost me too much.

Id like to get one of those scoops, except for a single 4 brrl. Unlike the dual 4 brrl one on that car lol. Those things are expenstive tho.

What was I thinking...wonder if the guy is still around? lol jk He's been after me to sell it for about a month and now that most of the body work has been done and all that rust stuff is gone he made me an offer. I highly doubt I'll ever sell it though.

My my friend has a '72 Nova and has a weiand 4 bbl manifold with a Holley and on the weekends he drives around with a scoop on it with no hood, looks terrible.

lmfao.. kinda reminds me of when I go to the race track, and you always see multi-colored cars (mostly honda's, sadly) that sit there and remove their body kit and hood before racing. And they still lose.

I guess they dont realize that when they remove the hood, it lowers the weight...but all the air coming into it hits the firewall causing more drag. Dont guess they care about that slowing them down eh? lol Besides if I had a FWD car, id want to leave the hood on it. More weight up front on the tires, better traction. They should lose the wing on the back instead of the hood

Having no hood is better than paying $600 for a transparent one

I think they look stupid anyway, if I ever bought a car with one on it I'd probably paint it.
