that's why I don't like hondas mainly is because in order to make it "fast" or be able to drive it and be proud of it you have to dump waaaay to much money underneath that thing and to me it ain't worth the time and effort

ya, I would rather spend $10K on my '79 Monte and have a Chevy v8 powered beast that looks sweet to drive, then a Honda that I have to dump 10K just in the motor to make it as fast as my Chevy v8

the reason ppl put so much into the hondas to make them fast is because you can buy them for $3000, put a $3000 motor in it and its already as fast as a stock mustang gt and youve only spent $6,000. The mustang gt from the factory is $20k plus.

my motor for my Monte is only costin 2500 and it should be faster then a stock mustang gt, Im expecting to be in the 12s

hell no hes the best motor builder in this city, my dads cousin is a big drag racer and mechanic and he builds all the race motors, he said this guys motors are better then brand new crate motors when hes done with them

he'll do a good job, hes building me a 383 stroker, I have a 350 4 bolt 010 block for it, my dads cousin knows all the best in town and he told me to have him do it.

good you got the hook up I'm trying to get in contact with my uncle see if he still has his old nova and maybe if he does he'll pass it down to me cause all's it was doing there is collecting dust a '62 nova in my hands >=) just another nova on this board and on cardomain lol

ejcivic $6,000 isnt exactly cheap either. (not when your poor lol). Id rather get a older car and spend that same 6k on it...not only hang with a mustang gt, but smoke it.

I wish I had pics of it, next time I contact them I'll talk to my uncle and see if he still has it and is willing to pass it down to me..hopfully he will lol and I'll get pics of it if I get it last time I saw it, it was a rust bucket pisses me off but hopfully it will get into my good hands >=)
