Might even have the old 4 in it. Depends on what model it was new....some had 4's, some had 6's and some had 283's. Couple years later they added the 327.

Did a little research and a V8 wasnt put in a nova until 64 and it was the 283, and the 327 came out in 65. The 4 cylinders are very rare but they did use them every year up till 1970. In 1962 they made 24,000 of them with the 153 4 cylinder.(gutless, at 90 HP)

Ahhh I was thinking the 283 came out in 62-63. I knew the 327 was around 65. You dont see many of the 69-70 Nova's with the original 396 and TH400. (SS Nova's)

Nope, not at all, they acually made 50 of them in 68, and most of them came with the M-22 rockcrusher but alot did come with the TH400.

68-70 around 2,700 Nova's were made with TH400. Only the 68, 69, and 70 Nova's had the TH400. The M-22 only came in 68, and 69. There were about 850 M-22's in the 68-69 Novas. Most Nova's from 62- 79 had either the 3 speed, TH350, or Powerglide trannys. Over 160,000 were made with the small Th200 in 76 and 77. Mostly for the inline 6 250 engines. Over 13,000 had the 396, but only 68, 69, and 70 had them.

I wonder how much a '70 non-yenko 360hp 350 LT1 COPO Nova would sell for? Only 2 ever made.

If there is one around, it probally doesnt have the original engine. So the numbers wouldnt match.
