Just imagine what a near 500hp engine in a 1,900lb car will do..... Are you going to take the engine out of your Nova for it or build a new one?

It all depends. Right now its just a project. If it turns out really nice, then Ill put my engine and tranny out of my Nova into it. If I get it going, but its not the way I like it, ill probally just drop in a stock V8.
Ill put my engine and tranny out of the Nova into it only if it turns out right.

Id probally just stick a 283 or something in it just to keep it from sitting in one spot so long. Atleast be able to drive it around till I could build something for it.
Triumph isnt going to be done anytime soon tho. So it will be awhile. End of summer hopefully.

Out of the 11-12 cars ive owned..only 1 was a ford...so im used to having a powerful car ;D lol. Nah Im not going to sit here and say im the best driver in the world..but cause im no where near the best. But I can handle a car at high speeds. Maybe not 200mph around semi curvy road in a homemade car....but i could handle 200+mph on a straight away. Ive had my car up to 120 on a curvy road...and it isnt known for being a good handling car. Expecially with posi traction.

120 is the fastest I've ever gone, but as soon as my Nova is on the road it should be able to get up to 130 with the highway gears.

If I had a gear change mine would go alot faster then 120-130. But with the gears I got...you can tell they are there at high speeds. Rev's go up, and you can hear the rear end whinning.

Same here as 86Stang, got 135 going down the highway and she still had some left in her. Hell, I got my winter beater to do 125 or so lol, it was pretty funny. Nova, I would recommend maybe a small block for the car? Your engine might be a bit too powerful for that car. 300HP or so would be plenty enough lol.
