Im going to try and work out a deal with my grandpa. Im going to see if he will trade me a 1954 Chevy SWB step side pickup, a 1951 Chevy 3/4 ton flatbed, and a SWB chassis for a 55-59 Chevy pickup, for my S10.
I hope I can talk him into this lol. I used to own the 54. It has no engine, and is in the junkyard currently...same goes for the 51. And im going to try and get the chassis for my 58.
Just even more vehicles..when I dont really even have time for the ones I have now lol.

I will. Ill let you know when I do. Soon as I get it over here, doesnt look too good with all the different color parts..but body is good. All except one spot. It had been wrecked (bumped) on the front of the driver's side on the cab. It needs to be worked on bad there...rest is perfect considering its age...and not having much work done to it. I do have to find a new back glass. Brand new $300 windshield, and plexi (how ever you spell it) rear glass.

Is the glass flat? if it is, just make a cardboard template and have a glass shop cut one.

My grandpa has a glass cutter, Nothing fancy but enuff to cut something for the truck. All I need to do is find a glass out of another car or truck that is completely flat. Then cut it into the shape I need.
Ill get some pics up as soon as possible. Its still over at my grandpa's right now.

Untill I get the pics...here is what a 54 Chevy pickup looks like. (for those that may not know) I tried to find a pic of the rims that are going on it. But I couldnt find a pic of them anywhere. I believe they are from a 40's model chevrolet pickup.

Ill probally go with flat black paint. Flat black intterior. Red rims, w/ chrome hubcaps, and chrome bands. And some wide whitewall tires. (not wide as in wide tire...but big white walls). Give it the old school hot rod look.

Basically something like this... Except on a truck..not a roadster. (same white wall tires, rim color, and paint)

Yeah, I kind like the "rat rod" look but I have always HATED white wall tires.

They look good on certain vehicles. But on some cars it just ruins the look.

This is a bad pic of the rims that are going on the truck. I need to clean the near 60 year old paint off..and polish the hub caps. Im also going to put chrome bands around the outside. I have a set of 5, with 7 hub caps...so I have a few extra caps if I need them lol.
