If anyone has or knows where to get a used disc brake setup for a '68-'74 Nova PLEASE LET ME KNOW. All I really need is the spindles but I would like to get the rotors and calipers with the spindles.

You can find them fairly easy (new). But I dont think ive ever seen a Nova junked that had them. Mainly because the SS's had them..and not many SS's are in the junkyards.

SS cars arent the only ones that came with disc brakes, I've seen them on customs, four doors, and just plain Novas, my last Nova was an SS and it had drum brakes. Do you know if the spindles out of a Chevelle would work?

Mostly nova's that have them have had a conversion done probally. Spindles out of a chevelle/malibu might work. They are pretty much similar to each other. (GM is good about being able to switch parts from one car to the other anyway.)

Yeah. GM always wanted to save money so they probably use the same spindles.

True, makes easy to build a GM car with such a wide range of parts tho.

The brake parts off any 68-74 X-body car will work.

Would the 75 - 76 model Super Sport Nova disk brakes work on your car? Doubt you'd ever find that year SS in the junkyard, but just wondering.

No, the spindles are too tall.
